Answer 1 of 3: We're finally fleshing out our trip to Utah and figured we'd end up in the Kanab area on our first day in the state. We'd like to include a tour of Peek a boo canyon early that day, and hit Best Friends later that day. There are so many.

Peek a Boo Slot canyon in Kanab, Utah is an easy 1.5 mile (2.4K) hike through a spectacular slot canyon located about 10 miles north of Kanab. A must see while in the Kanab area.

Sandboarding is an optional activity for children, teens and anyone that wants to give it a try free of charge. There are sand dunes and a ton of beautiful scenary along the way. This slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of those busy areas at the national parks. The hike through the canyon is not difficult. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace and to get the pictures you want.

We will meet in the parking area of Peek-A-Boo Trailhead about 15 minutes north of Kanab. There are signs on the highway showing the turnoff. The turn is on highway 89 between mile markers 72 and 73. I will send a direct link before we meet up.
